VAIDYA VIDHANA PARISHAD
Brief note about the Department:-
Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP) was established with effect from 2nd June 2014 upon bifurcation of United State of Andhra Pradesh in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States separately (the Organization was established under an act of Legislation Act No.29 of 1986 solely to manage secondary level hospitals in the State.
As on today there are 179 hospitals spread over the entire State. In our Bhadradri Kothagudem District there are (07) Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad Hospitals which are providing Medical services locally to poor & tribal people so that they don’t have to travel hundreds of kilometers for medical treatment and risk their lives. In the last two months, the government has taken all necessary measures to strengthen the specialist services. Also, all kinds of specialized medical specialists are employed and all kinds of medical services are provided not only to the poor and tribal people of the district but also to the poor people who are coming from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha States.

TVVP Hospitals Activities (TVVP For CARE, COMFORT & COURTESY):-
The above (07) TVVP Hospitals are working under the control of Commissioner, TVVP, Department of Health Medical & Family Welfare under the supervision of Superintendent, District Head Quarters Hospitals (DCHS), Bhadradri Kothagudem District.
All these hospitals providing the Outpatient services, Inpatient services (including emergency & surgical), Diagnostic services and Laboratory services. Along with the Primary Health Centers and Teaching hospitals (Tertiary Hospitals) these hospitals act as a platform for implementation of various National Health Programs like Malaria, Tuberculosis, Family Welfare, AIDS, etc.
- Area Hospitals(Bhadrachalam, Manuguru, Aswaraopeta & Yellandu) with (100 -200) beds are providing services with clinical specialties like Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Anaes., General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Pahtalogy and Dental.
- Community Health Centers(Paloncha, Burgampahad & Charla) with (30-50) beds are providing services with clinical specialties like Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Anesthesia., General Medicine, General Surgery.
