          Minorities Welfare Department was established in the year 2014 to look after the welfare programs implemented by the Government for welfare of the Minorities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Siks, Jains, Budhist. Telangana Minorities Residential schools and Junior Colleges:

         The Government of Telangana has Sanctioned (6) Telangana Minorities Residential Schools and Junior Colleges from 5th Standard to Intermediate with 3120 strength out of which 2119 were studying 1040 Boys 1079 Girls at Constituency Head Quarter to provide free education to Minority Children who are come under below poverty line with corporate level Academic and Hostel facilities. Post Metric Scholarships:

           The Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued guidelines for sanction of Post Metric Scholarships and Tuition Fee for Eligible Minorities Students vide G.O.Ms.No.26 Minorities Welfare Department Dt.30.06.2008 who are studied Technical Non-technical course in Government and Private institutions who’s Family income is below 1.50 laksh in rural areas and Rs.2.00 lakhs in urban areas.

Chief Minister Overseas Scheme (Scholarship):

         The Government of Telangana has introduced this Scheme from 2015 vide G.O.Ms.No. 24 Dated 19.05.2015 for sanction of Scholarships to the students belonging to minority community for pursuing high studies in foreign Universities. Under this Scheme scholarships will be sanctioned in II installments as detailed below.

  • Installment –I An amount of Rs. 10.00 Lakhs and Ticket Fare Rs 0.60  thousand shall be payable to students upon production of The Landing permit /I  94card (Immigration card) with Flight charges.
  • Installment –II An amount of Rs, 10.00 lakhs shall be payable to students upon Production of the Ist Semester Results.

The Government of Telangana was enhanced the above scholarships from Rs. 10.00 Lakhs to 20.00 lakhs Vide G.O.Ms.No 29 Minority Welfare Department Dt. 09.08.2016 from 2017. The details of achievements from district formation are shown below.

Bankable Schemes (Economic Support Schemes):

        The Government of Telangana has introduced Economic Support Schemes for minorities videG.O.Ms.No. 41 MW (Estt-II) Dept.Dated 19.08.2018. These schemes are being implemented through the TSMFC and TSCMFC in the following categories.

        The Government of Telangana has introduced Economic Support Schemes for minorities for the year 2022-23. The schemes are being implemented through the TSMFC in the following categories. Tentative Action Plan under Bankable Scheme under Economic Support scheme for the Year 2022-23 communicated to the Concerned MPDO’s and Municipal Commissioners to select the beneficiaries.

Grant-In-Aid:

           The Government of Andhra Pradesh was issued guidelines vide G.O.Ms.No. 21 Minorities Welfare Department Dt. 05.06.2006 for sanction of financial assistance as grant to poor and needy Waqf institutions which do not have income  for meeting the expenditure on repairs and renovations, construction/Reconstruction of compound walls and other infrastructure facilities on the Occasion of Ramzan Festival.  TSMFC & TSCMFC Distribution of Sewing Machines

 TSMFC-Sewing Machines

             Government has sanctioned 500 Sewing machines to Bhadradri Kothagudem for 5 Constituencies @ 100 out of which 457 sewing machines selected list received from the Public Representative of 5 Constituencies. Distribution process completed by the then Honble MLA Pinapaka Constituency 88 sewing machines on Dt:08.12.2023. Remaining 367 sewing machines of 04 Constituency not distributed due to MCC code.

 

TSCMFC-Sewing Machines

              Government has sanctioned 75 Sewing machines for Bhadradri Kothagudem for 5 Constituencies @ 15 per each selected list received from the  Public Representatives and same forwarded to the Managing Director, TSCMFC for sanction of sewing machines.

Training , Employment & Placement Programme:

         The Government of Telangana has introduced Training, Employment & Placement programme for unemployment Christian Minorities Youth for the financial year 2022-23 Target (70) Candidates were approved by District Collector with Data Pro Training Aswaraopeta in DTP and Tally under self-employment for three months (90 Days) at present the course completed.

Ramzan

         The Scheme was introduced by the Government of Telangana vide G.O.Ms.No. 116  Dated 07.07.2015. Incurring of expenditure towards arrangements for Dawat-E-Iftar and distribution of Gift packets ( cloths) to poorest of the poor Minorities Families and orphans on the occasion of Ramzan.  Since from 2016 to 2023 every year Gift packets and Dawat-E-Iftar has been conducting in Bhadradri Kothagudem as desired in mentioned below format.

            The Scheme was introduced by the Government of Telangana vide G.O.Rt.No.239 Dated 29.10.2016.  Incurring of expenditure towards arrangements for conduct of Christmas distribution of Gift Packets ( Cloths) to the deserving Christian Minorities and orphans on the occasion of Christmas 2020.The details of achievements are shown below. Since from 2016 to 2023 every year Gift packets and Feast  has been conducting in Bhadradri Kothagudem as desired in mentioned below format
