        The District Backward Classes Development Department, Bhadradri Kothagudem was Newly formed District & Started functioning from 11-10-2016 and works for the Socio and Economic development of Backward Classes families by creating income-generating assets (the G.O.Ms.No.142, BCW Dept., Dt.11-10-2016 The Backward Classes Welfare and The Dist. B.C. Service Cooperative Society are merged in Backward Classes Development Department.).

Maintenance of Govt. BC Pre Matric Hostels:

     There is (17) Govt. BC. Hostels are functioning in Bhadradri Kothagudem District, the Commissioner of BC Welfare T.S Hyderabad release the budget quarter wise to maintain 17 Pre-metric Hostels for admitted boarders and the budget has been distributed to all the Pre- metric Hostels.

 Post metric Scholarship (MTF):-

     Under this scheme, Rs.9,18,40,190/- released during the year 2023-24 Rs.9,18,11,840/- sanctioned to (15320) B.C. students by adjusting the MTF Amount to the Bank Accounts of the students through online.

 Reimbursement of Tuition Fee to B.C students (RTF):-

     Under this scheme Rs.15,29,30,910/- released during the year 2023-24 towards Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (RTF), Rs.15,29,18,950/- sanctioned to (8280) Post-Matric B.C. students by adjusting the amount to the Bank Accounts of the Principals of the Colleges concerned through Online

Reimbursement of Tuition Fee to E. B.C students:-

     Under this scheme Rs.2,22,18,350/- released during the year 2023-24 towards Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (RTF), Rs.2,21,98,300/- sanctioned to (1230) Post-Matric B.C. students by adjusting the amount to the Bank Accounts of the Principals of the Colleges concerned through Online.

Pre-Matric Scholarships:- 

      The government of Telangana have giving Rs.1000/- as  pre metric scholarships to the BC Students of 9th and 10th class directly to their Bank account.

Incentive cash award to the Inter caste married couples:-

      The government of Telangana have giving Rs.10,000/- towards incentive cash award to the BC Inter caste married couples.

Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam:-

      During the year 2023 – 2024 for Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam BC & EBC Out of which bill were passed for (1490) are applied for Kalyana Lakshmi Pathakam in Bhadradri Kothagudem District.

SSC Results:-

        There are (167) boarders have been appeared for SSC Examination during the academic year 2023-24 out of which (161) have passed, and got 96.40% Students grade points :      A1(05),A2(39),B1(62),B2(41),&C1(13),C2(01).

B.C. CORPORATION

Margin Money Subsidy Scheme (in Rural Area only):-

        Margin Money Subsidy Scheme is being implemented for the Welfare of B.C. People who is residing in rural areas (other than Municipal areas).

The Subsidy pattern is as follows:-

  • Unit Cost below Rs.0.50 Lakhs 100%(Subsidy)
  • Unit Cost below Rs.1.00 Lakhs 80%(Subsidy)
  • Unit Cost Rs.1.01 Lakhs to Rs.2.00 Lakhs 70% (Subsidy)
  • Unit Cost above Rs.2.01 to Rs.12.00 Lakhs 60% (limited to Rs.5.00 Lakhs Sub)

TRAININGS:-

      The Telangana Government have decided to conduct at District Level Trainings for up-gradation of skill development of Kummari community people in Clay Ganapathi idols half feet and one feet and clay water bottles, tea cups, water glasses, Deepanthulu etc., and the trainings were conducted to Kummari Community people to up-gradation of skill development and lead the daily life.

250 UNITS FREE ELECTRICITY TO WASHERMAN & NAYEEBRAHMIN COMMUNITY:-

       The Government of Telangana has decided to provide free Electricity supply upto 250 Units per month to the Hair Cutting Saloons, Laundry Shops and Dhobhighats maintaining by Nayeebrahmin and Washermen / Rajaka Communities with effect from 1st April 2021 vide G.O.Ms.No.2 of B.C.W. (D) Department, Government of Telangana, Dt.04-04-2021.

RS.1.00 LAKH TO B.C. ARTISANS / VOCATIONAL COMMUNITIES

       The Government of Telangana has decided to provide financial assistance to B.C. Artisans / Vocational Communities for rs.1.00 Lakhs Grant for below poverty line, and up-liftment of their livelihood.  The Government have permitted to invite new applications from the Individuals through online in tsobmmsbc.cgg.gov.in Dt.06-06-23 to 20-06-23.  The Government has issued guidelines to implement the Financial Assistance for B.C. Vocational Communities in the state as per GO.Ms.No.5, Dt.06-06-2023.

  • Fresh Registrations shall be taken through online portal from all Backward Classes Artisans / Vocational Communities.
  • An amount of Rs.1,00,000/- Lakhs for each beneficiary as a grant to upliftment of their respective occupations.  The grant will be given to one for one family.
  • The individual age limit fixed from 18 years to 55 years as on 02-06-2023.
  • The annual income shall not exceed Rs.1.50 Lakhs in Rural Areas and Rs.2.00 Lakhs in Urban areas.
  • The beneficiaries who already availed various welfare schemes Rs.50,000/- and above since last five years from the date of applications are not eligible.
  • The online application starts from 06-06-2023 to 20-06-2023.
  • The verification of applications to be completed at Mandal / Municipality Level by MPDO / Municipal Commissioner from 20-06-23 to 26-06-23.
  • The selection process shall be completed by the District Committee headed by District Collector.  The District Collector shall take the approval of District In-charge Minister from 27-06-23 to 04-07-23.
  • Selection list (Phase wise) has to be displayed in Website, Mandal and Gram Panchayaths.
  • The Release and Disbursement of Grant shall be done one time payment to the beneficiaries by 15thof every month subsequent to the formal launching of the scheme by Hon’ble Chief Minister on the Welfare Day i.e. 09-06-2023 during the Telangana Dashabdhi Ustavalu.
  • The choice of the equipment and place of purchase shall be left to the beneficiaries.

      The applicant should live in the present address mentioned in the application only.  Applicant currently engaged in traditional occupation as per caste certificate.  There is no need of sending any physical applications.
